Teledyne Brown Engineering allies with SY Technology

Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) and SY Technology, Inc., both of Huntsville, Alabama, have entered into licensing agreements for diffractive optic design and fabrication facilities. The agreements include provisions whereby TBE will provide SY with an extensive photolithographic based production facility for custom and standard diffractive and refractive micro-lens systems and both companies will exchange technologies related to diffractive optics.

The deal between TBE and SY strengthens both companies with TBE's recent focus on replicating diffractive and refractive products in plastic and SY's focus on expanding government contract work and engineering custom optics for the commercial sector.
