Chinese telecom suppliers pick ISI software

Six Chinese telecommunications suppliers have picked real Integrated Systems Inc. for their real time operating system provider, giving the firm's pSOS software a shot at becoming a major portion of China's plans to become a major telecom equipment supplier. The five The private and government companies will use the RTOS in cellular basestations, ATM switches, digital switching systems and wireless phones. According to the Chinese Ministry of Electronics Industry Information Center, there will be 20 to 30 million phones in China by the year 20000, with an equal number of fax machines and 18 to 26 million mobile phones.
