The graph shows the effect of input power - via self heating - on wavelength in Rohm's record devices. The devices with 70 percent reflective front mirrors are plotted as filled blue triangles; lasers with 97 percent reflective front mirrors are plotted as open red circles. From the base wavelengths, established under pulsed operation, the fitting curve shows the former increases wavelength at 4.56 nm/W and the latter at 4.34 nm/W. Credit: Rohm.
