This shows the optical layout for the dual objective (OBJ1 and OBJ2) imaging system integrated into an optical trap using a 1064 nm laser and a 975 nm position detection laser. D1 and D2 are dichroic mirrors; M1 and M2 are 50% silvered mirrors; T1, T2 and T3 are telescope systems for beam expansion and steering; L1 and L2 are tube lenses for imaging; F1 is a filter; M3 is a mirror; L3 is a lens; AOD is an acoustic-optic deflector; CCD is a charge-coupled device camera; and PSD is a position sensing device.
