| (Heptagon) These 8 x 8 arrays are made up of microlenses that measure 2.8 x 2.8 x 1.1 mm. The microlenses are set in a thin layer of epoxy on both sides of a substrate. These devices were made for an imaging application, but similar components can be used for fibre coupling in telecommunications. |
