Ultra-fast Optical Switch - Extended Wavelength from 400nm to 2μm

LASER COMPONENTS is delighted to introduce its high-speed optical switch covering a wavelength range of 400nm to 2000nm.

The switching speed is faster than 100ns with a repetition rate of up to 1MHz. High optical power up to 5W is also available. The switches are highly reliable without moving parts and organic materials in the light path. These switches and their electronic drivers are produced in volume, offering unmatched cost benefits. With industry-leading performance, they are widely used in mission-critical optical switching applications. Configurations are available in 1×1, 1×2, 1x4 and 2x2, in both polarisation independent and polarisation-maintaining versions.

The design of these switches offers a low insertion loss, compact size, and high reliability with full telecom and space qualifications. This range has been in production for almost two decades.
