Collimated Homogeniser Module |
20 Nov 2017 Diffractive homogenisers are used to convert any collimated input beam profile into a well-defined spot with a randomly diffused intensity profile at the focal plane. Holo/Or have now developed the collimated homogeniser module, a tailored solution for applications requiring a wide range of working distances. Unlike our standard diffractive homogeniser, which gives a shaped intensity spot at the focal plane, the collimated homogeniser module maintains the uniform intensity beam, with high fidelity, power uniformity and constant size and shape over an extended working distance range up to 300mm. Common applications include aesthetic skin treatments, laser welding of polymers and laser surface treatments.
As has become annual tradition, the diffractive optics end of year sale begins now, with discounts of up to 20% on single stock diffractive optical elements, for orders placed before December 27th.
