MÖLLER-WEDEL OPTICAL GmbH has developed a simple-to-use workshop interferometer for testing flat objects.  The new Fizeau-type INTERFEROMETER VI direct 50 PUL is able to measure the surface flatness of optical parts from 12 mm up-to 50 mm.

Further features are:

• Integrated high resolution digital camera with direct USB3-connection
• Light source fiber coupled HeNe-Laser (l=633 nm) or stabilized diode laser (l=635 nm)
• Annular seating face with tip/tilt adjustment
• Direct display of the interferogram without re-alignment
• Monitor with single board computer
• Visual or optionally software-supported evaluation of the interferogram
• Accuracy l/20 p-v
• Cost effective alternative to conventional interferometers
