Laser Quantum Announce New Compact Form and Improved Beam Quality With 532nm Laser

The Laser Quantum excel laser has been redesigned and launched in a new compact form providing improvements in beam quality, stability and lifetimes.

The excel head measures less than 130 x 83mm (the same head as the gem lux and ignis) taking up minimal space when integated into its host instrument or system and is designed to be integrated easily and forgotten. The lifetime of the excel far exceeds alternative light sources and with a power range up to 2 Watts, is powerful enough to satisfy many laboratory applications such as PIV, Raman Spectroscopy and even Oscillator pumping.

It is supplied with an ultra compact intelligent control and power unit that contains a feedback mechanism delivering power stability of <0.4% RMS and can switch between power and current control to fit in with the application as required. Supplied with software that allows control, diagnostics and optimisation of the laser head across a remote internet connection the excel has improved ease of use, reduced maintenance and instrument down time.The Laser Quantum excel laser has been redesigned and launched in a new compact form providing improvements in beam quality, stability and lifetimes.
