28 Sep 2007 Ultra-compact high-speed camera with 1,3 megapixels at 1.000 fps With the SpeedCam MacroVis, Weinberger launches a new, innovative family of ultra-compact high-speed cameras with Bayer CMOS sensors. The system is available with a resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 pixels, and at full resolution achieves a maximum recording time of 1,000 fps. At reduced resolutions, explosive moments can be analyzed at up to 93,000 fps. With compact dimensions of just 69 x 93 x 92 mm, there is room for the camera in the tightest corner.
The smart high-speed video system is available as an economical basic model with 1.5 second recording storage and optionally in a monochrome or color version. Thanks to numerous upgrades, the camera can be tailored for individual areas of application. For example, more image storage, an auto-trigger function, or multi-sequence recording are available for a low additional charge. Also available is the HI-G option (100g / 25 milliseconds), which equips the camera for any crash test in the automobile industry.
The high-speed camera comes standard with a Gigabit Ethernet interface and can be operated with any high-performance notebook or Windows PC. The basic MacroVis software for simple slow-motion analysis is included in the delivery. The optionally available full version of the control software Visart offers numerous additional functions and filter options which can be set manually or automatically.
