11 Jun 2007 WT&T Inc introduces SMA connectorized fiber compatible miniature snap-on collimator. Broad-band device can focus and collimate light, has low level of back-reflections WT&T is pleased to introduce SMA-connectorized fiber compatible Model 011MM snap-on fiber collimator. Miniature device consists of precise optical lens assembly and can be attached directly to the ferulle of SMA- type optical connctor. Device collimates or focuse beam from SMA-connectorized multi- or singl-mode fiber patch-cords, or couples collimated beams into SM, MM or PM optical connectorized fibers. Collimator contains asphric lens, controllable along Z-axis only, providing collimation of focusing adjustment. Collimator size is 5x9 mm. Collimated beam diameter: 0.3- 1.5 mm.
