09 Jan 2007 The eVision tools from Euresys offer a wide range of powerful, flexible and advanced machine vision libraries. eVision’s reputation of outstanding robustness is now matched by its equally strong openness. The library suite is able to process images available in the host memory, whatever their origin: frame grabber or other standard technology, for example, IEEE1394a/b, GigE Vision, USB2.0. Dedicated interface functions allow users to link the image to eVision objects for processing, by simply providing the relevant image parameters. This means that matter which device has acquired the image, it becomes undemanding to move an application across different
acquisition technology.
