Compatible with newest industry standards including GenICam, GigEVision and FireWire-b interface technologies, the cameras in this Scout family are defined by state of the art technology that lets users get the maximum performance from the sensor. The FireWire-b cameras are also compatible with Basler's existing BCAM driver and API for Firewire-a cameras which makes camera upgrade an easy task. The other new camera family is the Basler Pioneer, based on Kodak CCD sensors which offer exceptional image quality. Equipped with a GigE interface and compatible with GenICam and GigEVision standards, these cameras take maximum advantage of the Kodak sensor technology. Both families are provided with drivers and GUI based software that lets users easily configure camera parameters and control cameras from a remote computer.
