Welwyn Garden City, UK -- Hamamatsu Photonics UK Ltd are implementing contingency plans to mitigate the effects of any potential delays in customs clearance for imported products following Brexit on March 29th. Where it is feasible to do so, we are already optimising our UK stock levels of certain products.

The majority of our products are manufactured in Japan by our Parent Company and with over 30 years of operation in the UK we have established and robust logistic processes that should continue after Brexit.

All of the companies which currently transport our goods, either by road or air, in and out of the UK, are EORI and AEO registered. We are working closely with each of them to ensure that contingency plans are immediately operational in the event that normal delivery services are not possible.

We understand that many customers have concerns. We are taking all reasonable steps to mitigate risk where it is within our control. We will continue to review our position as more information is provided by the Government.

At this stage there is no need to change your normal ordering pattern. If this advice changes we will inform you directly.
