SPI Lasers Opens New Office and Laboratory Facility in Korea

UK-headquartered fiber laser firm responds to rapid growth in Asian market.

SOUTHAMPTON, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SPI Lasers, a leading designer and manufacturer of fiber lasers, announced that it has expanded its Asia facilities by adding combined office and laboratory space in Seoul, Korea.

Driven by rapid customer growth in the Asia market, SPI Lasers has expanded into Korea to give enhanced local support to its growing customer base. The office will provide sales and support services for SPI’s fiber lasers, as well as develop business opportunities in the region. SPI recognizes the importance of the Korean market and the additional facilities come only months after the expansion of the Asia team with the appointment of John Chinn (pictured) as GM for South Korea & China and Dae-Seung Moon as Technical Manager.
