| Part of a wide range of excimer lasers available from Coherent, the "LEAP" systems are typically used in displays production, including laser lift-off stages for organic LED screens. The "letter of intent" signed with Faraday 1867 could see the same lasers find a significant application in the production of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) tape, for generating strong magnetic fields in "tokamak" fusion reactors.
