Gooch & Housego a manufacturer of high power laser components will have on display at CLEO on 2nd – 4th June 2009 in Baltimore, USA their new Fibre Coupled AOM,
Request infodesigned for use in pulsed fibre laser systems as well as fibre-based sensor systems. The Fibre-Q can be pigtailed with either single-mode (SM) or polarization maintaining (PM) fibre and covers a key wavelength ranges.
The Fiber Q takes fibre-coupled acousto-optics to a new level, offering a high reliability, rugged and compact hermetically sealed package. The device is optimised to achieve low insertion loss with high extinction ratio and optical power handling. This has been achieved through the development of a new manufacturing platform combining the group’s world renowned capabilities in both acousto-optics and Fibre packaging.
This new generation of fibre coupled acousto-optic modulator has been designed to meet the needs of today’s more demanding requirements, it is significantly smaller and, being of hermetic design, more robust than existing products.
General specifications and further information about the Fibre Coupled Isolator Range will be available from the Gooch & Housego booth (#715) at Photonics West Exhibition, San Jose, CA, USA on 27th – 29th January 2009 or you can email our sales team sales@goochandhousego.com who will be able to assist with your enquiry.
Our extensive range of components for fibre laser applications includes:
Fibre Coupled AOM
High power multimode combiners
Combiners with all types of signal feed through fibre
Ultra low ratio tap couplers
WDM’s for combining signals with red pointer lasers
