8x8 High Uniformity Splitter Nov 17, 2008
Holo/Or launched a new design of 8x8 diffractive splitters. These show a high Uniformity and efficiency and can be designed for various angles and optimized for various wavelengths.
With this release Holo-Or completes its collection of standard designs from 2x2 till 9x9.
In the far field one will obtain a distribution over the orders as in the attached profile.
Other features of the element include:
- High Transmission Efficiency (~95%)
- High Diffraction Efficiency (~75%)
- High Uniformity (~+/-5%)
- High Damage Threshold
- Insensitive to misalignment, (X-Y)
- Insensitive to beam wandering
- Suits single mode and multi-mode lasers
- Very tolerant for the beam quality of the input beam
- Optional Ar/Ar coated
- Made of Pure Fused Silica
- 25.4mm Diameter and 3mm Thick
The standard designs now available include parts with a separation angle about 1 degree at 1064nm, 0.8 degrees at 780nm and 0.5 degrees at 532nm, respectively.
