Susan is is responsible for Optics & Laser Europe, Europe's leading photonics magazine, Optics Products and optics.org. She has worked in scientific publishing for more than 10 years and has a degree in physics from the University of Surrey. Before joining IOP Publishing, Susan worked for BP as a research petrophysicist.
Jacqueline Hewett
Editor, Optics & Laser Europe, optics.org and Optics Products
Jacqueline is the editor of Optics & Laser Europe magazine, optics.org and Optics Products. She has a PhD in medical laser physics from St Andrews University, and a physics degree from Glasgow University.
Marie Freebody
Science and technology editor, Optics & Laser Europe and optics.org
Marie is the science and technology editor for Optics & Laser Europe magazine and optics.org. She has an MPhys in physics with nuclear astrophysics from the University of Surrey.
Tim Hayes
Industry and business editor, Optics & Laser Europe and optics.org
Tim is the industry and business editor for optics.org and Optics & Laser Europe. He has several years' experience in marketing communications, technical writing and occasional freelance journalism, and has lived in the UK and Sweden.
Caryl Richards

Caryl is the features editor for Optics & Laser Europe magazine. She has a PhD in optoelectronics and a degree in natural sciences (physics) from the University of Cambridge.

Rob has been working at IOP Publishing for over nine years with experience in both the telecommunications and compound semiconductor industries. He is now a group advertisement manager in the B2B division of the company.

Chris has considerable business to business sales and contract management experience across a number of magazines and websites, and is in his second spell at IOP Publishing. He has a degree in French and European Studies from the University of Keele, having spent a year at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium in 1996.

Matthew is originally from Essex, he moved to Bristol to study in 2002 and took international business and German at UWE. Before graduating in 2006 he spent a year studying and working in Germany at Berliner Fachhochschule fuer Wirtschaft (Berlin School of Economics). Americas. Rose is located in our Philadelphia office.
