Former Senator Larry Pressler joins board of APA Optics

Former U.S. Senator Larry Pressler has accepted an appointment to the board of APA Optics, Inc. (Blaine, Minnesota), which manufactures optoelectronic, fiberoptic, and ultraviolet detector products. Pressler, who represented South Dakota in the U.S. House of Representatives for four years and the U.S. Senate for 18 years, brings not only governmental experience but also an understanding of telecoummunications, trade, and business issues. In his final two years in the U.S. Senate Pressler chaired the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee. The manufacturing facility of APA Optics is in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
