Navy gives DRS $16 million contract for combat display emulators

The U.S. Navy has awarded DRS Technologies, Inc., a contract to provide engineering development, training, and technical support for combat displayemulators. The five-year contract for the systems will have a maximum value of $16 million. The combat display emulators use display and dataprocessing technology that simulates the functionality of the U.S. Navy's existing shipboard tactical display consoles.
