To kick start our latest series of product launches, we're excited to announce the addition of a variety of Transmission Spheres under the Knight Optical brand. These new products join our catalogue of over 3000 optics, all available now via our website.

Often referred to as T-Spheres or simply abbreviated as TS, Transmission Spheres are highly popular in interferometry applications, where they are used to focus the system's laser light (typically at 632.8nm) onto the surface of the lens (or through it for a transmitted wavefront measurement), and then back through the TS into the detector for accurate measurements.

Our comprehensive range of precision-quality Transmission Spheres are designed to work at 632.8nm (633 nm) – a standard wavelength for interferometers – and include six lines featuring aperture diameters of 4" and 6".

These uncoated optics are housed in metal casing for safe storage and comprise:
