17 Dec 2021 Hamamatsu Photonics new distance area image sensors with up to 320 x 20 effective pixels, are designed to measure the distance to an object using the TOF method. When used in combination with a pulse modulated light source, the sensor outputs the phase diļ¬erence information based on the timing of when the light is emitted and received. These new sensors are ideal for applications including touchless operation, motion capture, obstacle detection and more.
