Ideal for use within photographic applications, Knight Optical's high-quality Optolite Plastic Diffusers offer a far superior, more uniform diffusion than Ground Glass alternatives. Used to diffuse a camera's flash and advance photos exposed to harsh light and shadows, Optolite Plastic Diffusers soften and enhance the appeal of images. As well as improving photographic applications, Optolite Plastic Diffusers are also used in lighting systems; for example, to prevent glare from computer screens, lightboxes, viewing X-rays – as well as a myriad of other applications.

Offering excellent chemical resistance and durability for optimum performance and long operating lifetimes (whether placed indoors or out), Optolite HSR plastic diffusers have up to 20 times the abrasion and scratch-resistance of equivalent acrylics. What's more, highly impact-resistant, they can also operate continuously in temperatures in excess of 100°C.
