LASER COMPONENTS has raised the bar for ruggedised machine vision laser diode modules with the FLEXPOINT® MV12 machine vision laser series. Developed for easy integration into production lines, the laser is housed in a potential free stainless steel housing with an M12x1 thread and connector which can be screwed into existing threads or holes without a problem and, with an operating temperature of -20°C to +50°C, the MV12 will continue to work in hot or cold environments. The MV12 is available with all of our power options such a brightness modulation control via third wire and operates on a wide voltage range of 4.5-30VDC
The MV12 series is available with wavelengths from 405nm to 850nm, including the new 520nm green diode with optical powers up to 100mW (wavelength dependant), with fan angles ranging from 5° to 90°!
Using the highest quality optics the MV12 can produce a crisp line with a standard uniformity of ±20%, and line straightness of ±0.1%, with further options to tighten these even more! The module has a large 230mm depth of focus for large scale applications, and for precise measurement of smaller products such as circuit boards and microchips the laser module can produce a line just 5µm in width!
