Knight Optical UK Ltd - a global leader in precision optical and opto-mechanical components, are able to supply high quality singlet and doublet lenses at your required wavebands i.e. for the visible/UV/NIR. The doublet lenses, which can be manufactured to very tight tolerances (such as to +/-0.1% of the radius of curvature) are all tested in our QA and metrology department by fully trained technicians to deliver uncompromising quality.

All specifications are guaranteed by undertaking meticulous metrological testing meeting ISO9001 standards. Testing equipment includes a Trioptics Optispheric with Wavesensor Reflex. Knight Optical are able to test all lens parameters including focal length, back focal length, modulation transfer function, radius of curvature and flange length as well as diameter, centre thickness and edge thickness.

The motorised V-Block accessory allows for testing centration errors in transmission and reflection to less than 1 micron and our new Zygo Verifire XPZ enables us higher accuracy measurements of flatness and spherical surfaces in optical components and assemblies

Our range of doublet lenses can be supplied in a variety of materials such as; N-SK2, N-SF2, N-SF6, S-FPL51, S-TIL25 among others and we are happy to hold minimum stock to suit your needs.
