08 Apr 2009 The new LS series pulsed laser modules include all functions necessary for the safe operation of pulsed laser diodes in very different performance categories all in a compact housing (46x34x12 mm). Only an operating voltage of +12 VDC and a trigger signal have to be applied. External components are not required. This makes the PLD modules just as easy to handle as common cw laser modules.
At 905 nm, these modules deliver an optical peak power of 25 W at 4 ns, 120 W at 160 ns, and, optionally, 220 W at 8 ns. The 1550 nm versions deliver on a standard basis a power level of 7 W at 4 ns and 80 W at 8 ns. The metal housing is coated with nickel and improves the EMC of and for this module. Customer-specific versions are available inexpensively and promptly upon request. |
