16 Feb 2009 Today, the goal of every developer is to design increasingly smaller and compacter products. There is less and less space available in a system for individual components. For this reason LASER COMPONENTS presents its new laser diode module MINI series. At dimensions of only 15 mm in length and 8 mm in diameter these modules are extremely compact; they include all the noted quality features of the FLEXPOINT® series, such as protection against voltage peaks or reverse voltage protection. The dot lasers are focusable, and they are available with an output power of 1 mW or 4.9 mW at a wavelength of 635 nm or 650 nm. The housing is a potential-free aluminum housing that can be easily electrically integrated into a customer’s system. The modules require a supply voltage of 4.5-6 VDC. These modules may also be equipped with analog or digital modulation or a control wire used for power adjustment. |
