Our new mach 5 Digital Joulemeter is designed to measure laser pulse energy at >100,000 pps with 12 bit accuracy. . It can capture and store up to 4 million pulses (40 seconds of data at maximum rep rate). Dump the data on demand over the USB 2.0 full speed interface and analyze the numbers using our powerful LabView Applications Software (see features below).
We’ve designed two fast Joulemeter Probes, M5-SJ and M5-PJ, that interface to the mach 5. The M5-SJ is a very sensitive Silicon probe featuring a UV enhanced detector, while model M5-PJ is a Pyroelectric probe featuring a broadband, LiTaO3 detector. Both probes include a small integrating sphere with 6 mm input aperture which provides attenuation and enhanced spatial uniformity. They also include a detector mounted thermistor for temperature compensation to ensure high accuracy and linearity at high average power levels.
