Arcoptix introduces a high resolution NIR spectrometer

14 Nov 2008

Arcoptix S.A., a Swiss based manufacture of spectroscopic systems and specialized polarization optical components, introduces the high resolution near infrared spectrometer: the Arcspectro ANIR.

The ANIR is a versatile fiber coupled device that can be used with standard sampling accessories. The USB powered system is ideal for portable applications. The Arcspectro ANIR is a MEMS based portable Fourier transform spectrometer and covers a wide spectral range from 0.8 to 2.5 micron at 8 cm-1 resolution. This corresponds to 0.8 nm at 1 micron and 5 nm at 2.5 micron measurement wavelengths. A reference laser provides active control and extraordinary wavelengths precision. With its large entrance fiber of 1 mm in diameter and its optimized optical design for high throughput, it can be used for a large variety of applications. In addition to being very compact and fiber coupled, the system is totally sealed from the environment.
