Phosphor Test Station

22 Sep 2008

For rare earth & nano phosphors, luminescent materials for LEDs, displays, and lighting applications, McPherson's spectral test stations deliver ultraviolet (VUV) excited, real-time measurements.

Characterize emission and excitation spectrum as well as emission lifetime from the (vacuum) ultraviolet to the visible. A high resolution spectrometer for 200 to 800nm region is central to the open architecture system. Cool, sensitive, efficient 2D CCD spectral detection. Persistence data is collected via fast multichannel scaler. The vacuum sample chamber has either tunable light source (120 to 200nm) or selectable 146/147nm and 172nm sources. The system accepts up to 20 samples in a tray safe for powder or paste samples. Computer optimized optics for focus, signal collection and spectral agility. The complete system, provided ready to run, is ideal for industrial quality control applications as well as research and development. Complete systems and component level parts are available.
