02 Apr 2009 The Opus laser systems offers 2W & 3W of CW, 532nm in a highly stable, diffraction limited (M2<1.1) beam. The Opus 3 is also extremely quiet, noise (rms)<0.4% and long-term stability <0.4% rms. Laser Quantum launched the Opus 3 laser in 2007, this laser has successfully penetrated the Ti;Sappire pumping industry, the Ophthalmic industrie, bio-imaging and many other indstrial sectors.
The Opus 3 employs unique technologies to achieve a highly stable 3W CW output at 532nm with a near diffraction-limited beam (M2<1.1).
The Opus 3 is also extremely quiet, with a noise specification of <0.4% (1 Hz – 6 MHz) and long-term stability <0.4% rms.
Using our patented design, the Opus 3 head is highly resilient and compact. The operational software is windows based, giving the user complete remote control of the laser in either power or current mode at the click of a mouse. Alternatively, the user can interact with the full-colour LCD display on the mpc6000 power supply.
