AFR Announces Volume Shipment of TFLN Coherent Driver Modulators to Global Tier-1 Customers

Advanced Fiber Resources (AFR) is honored to announce volume shipment of 96 GBaud and 130 GBaud TFLN coherent driver modulators (CDMs) to global tier-1 customers. Both products are based on thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) technology, featuring baud rates of 96G and 130G, dual-polarization multiplexing, low insertion loss, low modulation loss, in compact OIF-compatible packages, and can be used in DP-QPSK, DP-16-QAM and DP-64-QAM modulation formats, for long-haul, metro and DCI coherent transmissions up to 1600 Gbps. In particular, both products can be used in C + L wavelength range with a single device, helping customers to save significantly in component and system level costs.
