For the first time, the Berliner Glas Group has received the prestigious “Entrepreneur of the Year 2018” business award, which is given out each year by the auditing and advisory company EY (previously Ernst & Young).
This award is given to companies with extraordinary success stories. Dr. Herbert Kubatz, President and son of the founder of the Berliner Glas Group, accepted the prize with Dr. Andreas Nitze, CEO and General Manager. The festive award ceremony was held on October 19 at the German Historical Museum in Berlin.
The Berliner Glas Group wins the award in the industry category. “We aredelighted to receive this award, and see this award as recognition of our past success, our strategic focus, and our continued rate of growth”, comments Dr. Herbert Kubatz on this honor.
The “Entrepreneur of the Year” is among the world’s most prestigious awards for businesses. For over 30 years, EY has awarded the particular success of select entrepreneurs in 60 countries. The selection criteria for the panel of judges includes growth, future potential, innovation, employee management, and social responsibility.
