Santa Clara, CA – February 17, 2015 – Spectra-Physics^®, a Newport Company, today reported that Newport Corporation has completed its previously announced acquisition of FEMTOLASERS Produktions GmbH, a leading developer and manufacturer of ultrafast laser systems.  FEMTOLASERS joins the Spectra-Physics Lasers Group and adds cutting-edge ultrashort pulse technology to Spectra-Physics’ industry-leading portfolio of ultrafast lasers.
