(Bohemia, NY - May 23, 2014) - PHOTONICS INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL Inc., one of the leading manufacturers of ns and ps diode pumped solid state lasers whose headquarters is located on Long Island in New York, continues to expand in China by increasing our market presence in Southern China.
PHOTONICS INDUSTRIES announces that it has opened a new branch office in Shenzhen, China to compliment our existing sales and service subsidiary, Photonics Industries China (PIC), in Suzhou, China.
In addition, PI has appointed Mr. Dong Cheng as our new Chinese Sales Director, who will be heading up or new Shenzhen based branch office.
Mr Cheng has extensive technical sales and marketing experience, first as Sales Manager at Shenzhen EDAN Instruments, Inc.; and then, as the International Sales Director at Shenzhen Everbright Laser (GD Laser) until his joining with Photonics Industries.
Mr Cheng received his Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Design and Engineering from the China Civil Aviation University in 2004. Then, he received his Master's degree in International Management from University of Exeter in England in 2007.
The addition of Mr Cheng and our new branch office in Shenzhen enhances PHOTONICS INDUSTRIES worldwide distribution network, which is comprised of subsidiaries in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China in combination with a sales representative/distributor network across the globe.
