Date Announced: 13 Jan 2014
Montreal (Canada), January 13th 2014 - With a pixel readout rate of 20 MHz for the three standard sizes of the best quality back-illuminated grade 1 scientific EMCCD detectors including the 1024x1024, Nüvü Cameras’ technology is opening the doors to a variety of novel imaging methods requiring the fastest frame rates in photon counting imaging at megapixel resolution. It is now possible to image for any chosen field of view without compromising on acquisition speed or optimal precision.
The thermoelectrically-cooled HNü cameras offer the highest single photon detection probability (>91%) and the highest image quality thanks to proprietary technology at the basis of its electronics generating sub- electron readout noise.
Intrinsically lower levels of noise combined with cameras operating at a temperature of -85°C allow frame rates exceeding 17, 67 and 975 images per second for the three standard sizes EMCCD detectors (1024x1024, 512x512, 128x128) - making Nüvü Caméras today's state-of-the-art solution when
every photon counts.
