Groovy kind of bomb
LZH engineers are using a laser ablation process to create a deep groove, or "notch" in the steel casing of unexploded bombs. Weakening the casing helps to deactivate the explosive material - which will only burn, rather than detonate, when triggered. Photo: LZH.
