| MKS says that its Spectra-Physics laser division is enjoying continued success with products like its "Talon" UV laser. Unveiled at this year's SPIE Photonics West exhibition in San Francisco, the latest version of the source offers more than 45W of UV power at 355nm, and is aimed at micromachining applications in PC board and other electronic component manufacturing.
