Brainwaves: Zebrafish larva brain showing pronounced neuronal activity.
Head and majority of the brain of a zebrafish larva, as recorded and reconstructed using the light-field microscope. Parts of the brain showing pronounced neuronal activity are artificially colored in magenta to white, proportional to the strength of the activity.
