| INO is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to support Canadian companies by supplying services and solutions using optics/photonics technologies. Its Internal Research Program (IRP) is financed at 50% by governmental funding (half from the Quebec government and half from Canadian government), while the organization also generates income through commercial research, technology transfer and prototype development.
