| By carefully tailoring the chemical formulation and size of its cadmium-free quantum dots, UbiQD is able to produce fluorescent materials that absorb and re-emit light at wavelengths useful for specific applications. While QDs are widely deployed in commercial displays, they are yet to find applications in photovoltaics - but the extended development and supply agreement with First Solar could change that.
