AM unit at IWS will produce complex components from diverse metallic powders.
The new Additive Manufacturing unit at Fraunhofer IWS will produce substantial components with complex geometry from metallic powders layer by layer, such as aluminum, titanium, or copper: for example, combustion chambers for hydrogen energy systems, blade wheel enclosures for turbines and other complex machine components or tools. © Christoph Wilsnack/Fraunhofer IWS.
