Mt Etna - as seen from ESA's Sentinel-2 satellite
Imaged using a detector provided by Teledyne e2v, this red-green-blue composite photo from the ESA's Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellite shows lava flow from Mt Etna in red/orange, as well as the emitted plumes. The image was captured in February, when Europe's largest volcano resumed activity. Image: ESA.
