Mauna Kea's laser-based cell imaging system has previously been evaluated alongside the "Monarch" robotic bronchoscope, developed by the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Auris Health. Consistently loss-making, Mauna Kea is now planning to focus largely on pulmonology applications such as this, following a company realignment.
