| FLIR is able to draw on nearly two decades of experience in thermal imaging of elevated skin temperature (EST), starting with the SARS outbreak back in 2003. Although it is not perfect, and cannot diagnose any disease directly, the technology is now widely regarded as one of a suite of measures that will help economies open up from Covid-related lockdown measures.
