| One center of silicon photonics development for applications beyond telecoms is Europe's 'PIX4Life' pilot line project. After working with the likes of Toptica, Bosch, and MedLumics, it is scheduled for completion this summer, but will continue to operate beyond that, in tandem with VLC Photonics.
