TROPOMI instrument
TROPOMI – described as the most advanced multispectral imaging spectrometer to date – is on board the Copernicus Sentinel-5P satellite. The instrument was developed jointly by ESA and the Netherlands Space Office, and is designed to identify and map a range of pollutant gases, including methane. Photo: Airbus Defence and Space.
