Fake booze?
VeriVin uses Raman spectroscopy to distinguish between real and fake whiskies, without the need to open a bottle. The same technology can be used for similar analysis of wine, olive oil, and other liquids, to combat what some studies have suggested is a substantial problem with counterfeit goods.
