PhD in Ocean Engineering, Physical Optics, or closely related field from an accredited institution required at time of application.
Knowledge and experience in optical modeling and optical laboratory setup are essential.
Experience in developing and managing a successful research program is necessary for consideration at the Associate and Full Professor levels, nominally over time periods of 5 and 10 years of experience, respectively.
Strong public presentation and communication skills are required.
Must be motivated to work on highly interdisciplinary project teams.
Experience in optical payload development for autonomous deployments is preferred.
